How do I setup an age restriction on a category of items?

• Use the Clover INVENTORY app to create a CATEGORY.  Add all the items for a particular restriction group to that category.  For example, create a CATEGORY called "Liquor" and all items that you wish to restrict into this category.  You might create a separate category for CIGARETTES.
• You can use your existing categories if you have already grouped your items into CATEGORIES.
• In the Age Verification app, tap "+ NEW RESTRICTION"
• You will be offered a list of CATEGORIES and LABELS.  Choose one or more of the categories to restrict.
• Tap NEXT.
• Follow the remaining directions which will ask for the message to be displayed as well as the age requirement.  
• Be sure to tap SAVE when you are done.

If you have a large number of categories to restrict, we would recommend that you make a new category called "Restricted" and add all items to that newly created "Restricted" category.  Then on the AV app, just restrict this one category!  This method doesn't interfere with your existing categories because items can exist in more than one category.
